Our Brewing Art

Our brewing process takes all day. Afterwards we have 450 liters of wort in our fermentation tank. There the yeast does its work and transforms the malt sugar into carbon dioxide and alcohol within a week.

The resulting young beer matures at low temperatures in the storage tank. It continues to ferment quietly for about 4-5 weeks until fully mature. Our storage tanks in the historic vault of the former stables have a total capacity of 6,000 liters.

Bottled Beer

In the coming months, we are bringing our bottling to a higher quality level. As soon as our bottling is ready, we will announce it here. Thank you for your understanding.

The Ingredients

Hops – The soul of beer. It provides the bitter-aromatic taste, ensures preservation and foam stability.

Water – At about 90%, the most important ingredient. We use high-quality water that often exceeds drinking water quality.

Malt – Gives beer its full flavor and color. The malt sugar makes fermentation possible.

Yeast – Single-celled fungi that convert malt sugar into alcohol and carbon dioxide.

The Ingredients

500 Years of Purity Law

The Reinheitsgebot (German Purity Law) of 1516 guarantees the highest quality. For 500 years, beer has been brewed with water, malt, hops and yeast.

Much suggests that beer has existed since humans began eating grain. When the Sumerians started brewing more than 6000 years ago, they had discovered a special beverage. In the Middle Ages, the art of brewing was further developed in monasteries.
